LSW X-Cricketers - Season 1998/1999

HKCA U19 League

The HKCA U19 League was held from Sept 98 till Feb 99 with 4 teams competing for the title in this inaugural competition.

X-Cricketers lost their opening match against California Cricketers but won the matches against Delia CC and SEKCC and got into the final.

In the final, X-cricketers bowlers did their job and restricted the Californians to 107 for 6 in 16 overs. Louis Chan and Jayesh Daswani guided X-Cricketers to 87/0 (with Louis making a fine 51) but the we lost some quick wickets and ended losing by 7 runs at the end of our 16 overs.

HKCA Summer 8s

X-Cricketers entered the Summer 8s pairs cricket competition organized and found new talents amongst players who actually learned the rules of the game as they played. Here is how each player performed:
